Le Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) est un organisme public de recherche.
Acteur majeur de la recherche, du développement et de l'innovation, le CEA intervient dans le cadre de ses quatre missions :
. la défense et la sécurité
. l'énergie nucléaire (fission et fusion)
. la recherche technologique pour l'industrie
. la recherche fondamentale (sciences de la matière et sciences de la vie).
Avec ses 16000 salariés -techniciens, ingénieurs, chercheurs, et personnel en soutien à la recherche- le CEA participe à de nombreux projets de collaboration aux côtés de ses partenaires académiques et industriels.

You will join the LIS, a team in charge of the definition, evolution, securing, operation and maintenance of the institute IT and its infrastructure.
You will focus on the administration of the WLCG T2 cluster.
As a Linux system administrator, you will be asked to:
-define and manage new architectures,
-participate in the management and optimization of the existing clusters, including support and documentation writing,
-watch the technology evolution to anticipate future evolution,
-participate in the security operation,
-maintain all computers in production level state with system and services updates and configuration evolution.
To assist you in your tasks, you will have the support of the existing internal expertise, rely on the team members, and you will have the opportunity to attend to training, and international conferences.
Profil du candidat
You have a master degree or equivalent.
You are familiar Linux operation systems (RedHat, Debian), configuration system (Puppet, Foreman), and the EGI UMD grid middleware.
Knowledge on network technology and management of switches is a plus.
You are a team worker, you appreciate being in contact with the end-users in a research environment always evolving.
You wish to work in contact with international collaborations.
You have a good level of English (written and spoken), French is not mandatory.
You are rigorous and self-starter. Your analytical, synthesis skills and capabilities in organizing your work will help you in optimizing the variety of tasks you will have to perform.
