Description de l'offre
Within the laboratory of experimental programmes and safety tests (LP2E), you will work with the team of experimental physicists in charge of preparing and carrying out tests in the CABRI nuclear reactor.
The current experimental programmes focus on improving our knowledge of the behaviour of fuel in accident conditions and of objects subjected to irradiation.
Together with the experimental physicists, your main tasks will consist in preparing, conducting and analysing the experiments performed in CABRI. This includes:
- Helping define the experimental conditions.
- Processing raw data acquired during the experiments and analysing the results.
- Writing technical documents, e.g. on the preparation of experiments, or formal presentation of the experimental results.
In addition and depending on your career choices, you may choose to:
- Support project management (actions and task planning).
- Contribute to multi-physic studies (neutronics, thermomechanics, thermohydraulics) and predictive calculations.
- Contribute to the promotion of scientific results through the publication of articles.
The duration of the contract is 18 months, renewable only once.
Profil du candidat
With a 5-year degree from an engineering school (or equivalent) and/or a doctorate, specialised in reactor physics and/or signal processing, you are looking for your first job experience.
You must be rigorous and organized. You should be able to analyse a complex situation and express constructive and relevant opinions.
You will need good communication skills, value teamwork and maintain open discussions with different colleagues and hierarchy.
