Context:

The main feature of Web3 applications is the capability of trusting on the information. This opens to new possibilities yet to fully explore and exploit.

Web3 applications topics can apply to finance, digital credentials, goods tracking, audit, etc. Currently we want to exploit Web3 capabilities to enforce Green Energy tracking aiming at having a useful impact on the current energy consumption system. The idea is to track the consumer's green energy consumption to give value to their actions.

More into detail, the idea is to track on the blockchain the consumers' green energy consumptions without revealing confidential information yet letting them obtain green energy certificates to prove their green consumptions.

The solution specification is mostly defined and will be provided to the intern.

Objective:

This internship aims to implement a Web3 application to track green energy consumption, produce green certificates and audit them. In particular, the solution will be developed on the Toposware ecosystem, leveraging the secure interoperability between private and public blockchains. The intern will become familiar with concepts such as blockchain interoperability and zkProofs.

Methodology:

The intern will have the following responsibilities:

(1)    Become familiar with the provided solution.

(2)    Become familiar with Toposware and the Web3 stack.

(3)    Adapt the provided specification to the Toposware platform

(4)    Implement the back-end of the Web3 application

Competences:

·        Being Master 2 in Computer Science/Engineering.

·        Knowledge about distributed systems in general.

·        Good experience in programming languages.
