Job description

CEA-LETI is hiring a bioengineer on a 18-month fixed-term contract to join an applied research project in bioengineering The project aims to develop vascularized organoids and integrate them into innovative microfluidic devices. This work is part of a broader technological research initiative focused on “organ on chip” platforms, within a multidisciplinary environment.

The selected candidate will contribute to the development and biological integration of a vascularized organoid model within a microfluidic system. They will work primarily in the laboratory, closely with engineers specializing in sensors, microfluidics, and microfabrication. Tasks will include:
• Cell culture and development of biological models suitable for chip integration,
• Adaptation and optimization of experimental protocols in a microfluidic environment,
• Participation in functional testing and biological characterization,
• Collaboration with technical teams to support technological developments (chip design, sensor integration, automation),
• Contribution to data analysis and valorization of results (team meetings, internal presentations).

Applicant Profile

You got a Master's degree, engineering degree, or PhD in biology, bioengineering, or a related field. You earned experience in cell culture, and in cellular and/or tissue biology and have knowledge or interest in microfluidic environments.

You show a strong interest in experimental work, rigor, observational skills, and autonomy.
