Job description

Within the advanced transistors laboratory, join CEA-LETI to develop the transistors of tomorrow. More specifically, in the area of sequential 3D integration (https://fames-pilot-line.eu/3d-options-for-enhanced-integration/ ) to characterize SOI technologies (https://fames-pilot-line.eu/fd-soi/ ).

 
You will be fully integrated into the team and have the opportunity to see all the steps involved in creating an SOI technology:

  • Understanding integration choices (10%)
  • Electrical characterizations (20%)
  • Device analysis (60%)
  • TCAD simulations for physical understanding (10%)

Depending on the candidate's interests, it is possible to publish this work in articles. This fixed-term contract is perfect for you if you want to consolidate or leverage your skills in semiconductor physics and be in a research environment. 

Applicant Profile

What do we expect from you? Competencies in semiconductor physics, developed through an engineering degree or a Master's degree. Optionally, but not mandatory, complemented by a PhD.

 
Required skills:

  • Semiconductor physics
  • Ability to process data (Excel, Python, etc.) and synthesize it
  • Electrical characterization (an asset)
