Division description

Leti, a technology research institute at CEA Tech, pioneers micro and nanotechnologies, tailoring differentiating applicative solutions that ensure competitiveness in a wide range of markets. The institute tackles critical challenges such as healthcare, energy, transport and ICTs.

The Systems division manages thirty European projects on a yearly basis as coordinator or partner especially in the frame of Horizon 2020. To consolidate this activity, the Systems division is looking for a talented person in charge of developping European project proposals.
The Systems division developped overs the last decades a strong expertise in the field of sensor integration, wireless transmission and cybersecurity with international impact. The Systems division is a main European actor in the Information and Communication Technologies. In applied research, it focuses mainly through its current European collaboration in Transport, Factory of the future, Active and healthy ageing and Internet of Things.

Job description

Motivated, with marketing skills, and predispositions for public relations you'll be in charge of the following activities :
- identification of European funding opportunity, more specifically for Horizon 2020 call for proposal
- together with the Division teams, identify and understand thoroughly potential contribution on those calls
- integration within competitive consortia and build proposals as coordinator or partner
- writing of the project proposal
- management of the proposal consortium when you are the coordinator and support the teams as a partner
- active involvement in European networks
You report to the European Programme Director and act together with the European programme team.
Your role will consist in developing the existing academic and industrial networks of the Division.
This activity requires frequent business trips abroad.

Applicant Profile

With a Master's degree in engineering or other relevant area, you have a first experience in building and writing European project proposals, ideally as a coordinator.
You are able to manage your priorities with an extensive knowledge of European funding schemes and requirements.
You feel at ease in business development and comfortable in public relations.
Your curiosity allows to tackle a variety of fundamental and applied research topics. A technical expertise related to electronics or industrial sector (such as Transport or Factory of the future) would be appreciated.
